Hello all, Looking for anyone who was apart of the 714th Tank Batt in 1951 - 1952 attached with 82nd AB. My step father served as a tanker and based at Bragg. Rich J. Rankin is his name. Didn't go to Korea! Thanks Rivers End

The 714th TNK BN was part of the 12th AD during WW2. The 12th AD was deactivated at the end of the war. I am assuming the 714th was part of that deactivitation. Of the original 17,000 members of the 12th AD, there is no one listed with the last name of Rankin.

I would suggest you find a vets site for the 82 AB, since the vets on this site are WW2 era.
