posted 12/13/2009 7:19:17 PM Dear Sir: I checked on the left hand column, and saw LIBERATION OF CONCENTRATION CAMPS. There are two videos containing interviews of veterans who helped liberate the Kaufering camps. The name of the camp Erpfting (spelling?) is not specifically mentioned. I do know that the 12th armored was in some of the camps, including Landsberg, and I believe camp IV. The following men were interviewed: Brad Dressler (23d Tank Battalion),

Sid Brickel: 92nd Recon. Contact Bob Payne: rrpayneb92rcn@verizon.net, 410 549 2748

Finally, Joe Hausner was a prisoner who was liberated by the 12th Armored. I believe he was in camp IV and he was liberated in Landsberg. I will send his phone number separately.
