posted 3/3/2010 12:59:56 AM Was wondering if you would have any record of my late father. He was a tanker in the 23rd Battalion and was wounded by friendly fire in France(1944?). He attended the 12thArmored Convention in Philadelphia in 1968. I still have the brouchers and his membership cards from the event.Any information would be helpful. I would really like to see his name with his buddies of the 12th. Thank you guys for all you do! This really great!

posted 3/9/2010 1:51:32 PM Hello, Please contact the Unit Representatives to the Hellcat News. They can put you in touch with veterans. Also, in the near future, all of the old Hellcat News will go on line, and you will be able to search these on the computer.
Brad Dressler 615 382 6569, brdsy@comcast.net (he is a veteran).
Geoff Lackey lackeys@charter.net 931 489 2056
Historian: James Francis (veteran) jimfrancis18@sbcglobal.net 925 988 0709
These men may put an announcement in the Hellcat News. Also, read the History of the 23d Tank Battalion in BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES on the left.
Also, check out Oral History Videos from men of the 23d Tank Battalion.
