Hello. Sorry for overlooking your request
for information. The "17,000" members roster says that your grandfather was a member of Headquarters Company of the 12th
Armored Division. I am guessing the best
place to begin the search is with Division Headquarters. (Every regular Battalion had a heaquarters company. If you have any further information, about a battalion,
please let me know).
In the meantime contact the unit representative of the Division Headquarters
