I am trying to find more info about my step-dad, Harry J. Carter "Bud". He is from upstate NY but trained in Texas. Would love any info. He is 92 years old now and I am trying to get him to the WWII memorial in Washington DC. Thanks.

He is listed as being in HQ Co.
SN/ 12 171 776
Awarded Combat Infantryman's Badge
In this site you can check the Division photos, Books and Written Experiences and Battles.
Guessing I would say he was at Herrlisheim and Colmar battles.
I will keep looking in the files
